About Us
A history 40 years strong...
Takle Electrical, originally named “NF and MR Takle”, has a long history that has seen the company develop from a small family company into a large successful team, serving a vast area within Australia. “
Noel Takle started his apprenticeship as an electrician in 1953. Noel developed his knowledge quickly developing a high demand for his skills in the industry. Noel worked for Telecom as a leading contractor converting the original Post Master General Telephone Exchanges to the automatic telephone system exchanges.
Noel also travelled throughout NSW and Victoria constructing power lines.
This demand for skillful Electrical Contractors lead to Noel starting “NF and MR Takle” in 1982, when he brought in sons Stephen and Kevin. Years later, on Noel’s retirement, Steve became Managing Director and pursued the same direction with ongoing commercial and industrial installations.
A high quality product has always been a proven measure on installations which is reflected through our client relations. The past 30 years has seen Steve steer the company into a diverse organisation serving Albury (country NSW), Northern Sydney, and Melbourne.
The Team now specialises in Telco installations, Level 2 service providing, commercial and Industrial Installations, Solar Installations, and Thermal Imaging.

2018 and beyond...
Takle Electrical specialises in commercial and industrial Electrical Works, LV installations as well as service work with level 2 accreditation, solar accreditation, communications and refrigeration works.
Our current team includes 12 electricians, a builder, 2 apprentices, excavator operator and Project Managers. Our company has our own equipment such as Excavators, EWP’s, Thermal Imaging equipment & X-Ray machines. We have authorisation to work on Telstra sites, Optus, Vodafone, Ericsson, NBN, Essential Energy infrastructure, Albury City council sites, Ventia, Radio Lines, Murray Goulburn, RTA, Rivalea, AGL, ZINFRA, Local Schools, Mercy Health Albury-Wodonga.
Current maintenance programs are in place with local hospitals, councils and independent supermarkets. These include (and are not limited to) light fit outs, new builds, refurbs, refrigeration installations, switchboard upgrades, generator servicing, testing, commissioning and fire system installation as well as annual thermal imaging.
We are Telstra accredited and have been approved for the Contractor’s Panel (TCSS). We have ongoing projects with Telstra year round with Telephone Exchange Work and Country SCAX and Mobile Phone Tower works. Our team has been responsible for projects such as generator installations from 10kva through to 1000kva, including the complete installation, room fit out, sound proofing and all building works.
We have completed numerous electrical sub-divisions, solar installations and commercial scale solar farms.
Our team has completed these projects all over the eastern side of the country from Queenstown Tasmania, to Lightning Ridge, Tamworth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra.
